FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
& CONTACT INFO
We welcome your feedback and your questions. If your question isn't
already answered below, feel free to contact us via email or phone.
1. Can you help
me identify a spider?
Yes, we are
willing to use our experience to help identify a Brown Recluse spider and/or
spider bite. Simply contact us through the web form and we will send you an
email address that you can use to send us pictures. Make sure the picture is
of good quality with sufficient lighting.
2. Can you tell
me if my bite is a Brown Recluse spider bite?
Using the same
method as in question 1, we are willing to use our experience to help identify
a Brown Recluse bite. However, even medical professionals are known to often misdiagnose Brown
Recluse bites so we cannot guarantee a correct answer, especially
when it is based solely on a picture of the bite.
3. I was bit
(X) months/weeks ago; will your product still help? My bite wound flares up
and still hurts sometimes.
The number one goal of the Brown Recluse
First Aid Kit is to adsorb the venom which is the cause of these flare ups. It is not necessarily too late to use our product.
One person even used our product on a flare up that occurred 4 months after being bitten and had excellent results.
Our money back guarantee will still apply if the product is found to be
ineffective.
4. Do I need to use a
Credit Card to order your products?
No, you can use the E-Check
option when ordering which uses your checking account instead of a Credit Card
to make a payment. You may also mail in a
check or money order.
Simply order the products through the
web site as normal. On of the payment options page, choose "Mail in
payment" rather than "Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex". Submit
your order and you
will be directed to a printable invoice which you will mail in with your check or
money order. Checks take some time to clear but money orders are processed
upon receiving.
5. How long has your company
been in business?
Progeny Products, LLC was formed in September of 2003. We are
active members of the Better Business Bureau in Springfield, Missouri and
are in good standing with no complaints on record.
6. My pet was bitten by a Brown
Recluse Spider. Will your product work on pets?
Since the cause of the wound is
venom being injected into skin tissue, our product should work on pets as
well. Initial reports are that our product works fantastic on dogs. See the
testimonials on the main page of this web site.
7. What is the shelf life of
your First Aid Kit?
After about 5 years the
Brown Recluse Solution begins to lose some potency. The powder has an
indefinite shelf life.
8. Is
the Brown Recluse First Aid Kit helpful for other venomous bites?
Hobo spiders (found in the
Pacific Northwest) and other recluse species such as the Desert and
Chilean Recluse will produce a necrotic wound similar to a Brown Recluse
bite. We have every reason to believe that our product would produce
similar results as seen in the testimonies. The venom from a Black Widow spider
attacks the nervous system and doesn't produce necrotic wounds like the
Brown Recluse. For this reason, our product is less likely to be as
effective on Black Widow spider bites.
The
Brown Recluse First Aid Kit contains ingredients that can have an
attraction to a wide variety of poisons and venoms. Some of those would
include: stings from a hornet, wasp, or bee; mosquito, tick, and fire
ant bites; poison ivy and poison oak.
9. Can bites from Brown
Recluse Spiders result in death?
Although highly unlikely, deaths from
a Brown Recluse Spider bite can occur. Children and the
elderly are especially at risk. An autopsy confirmed that a 5 year old
boy recently died from a Brown
Recluse bite. Brown
Recluse spiders can result in significant medical problems. One person was bit
on the spinal column and her brain swelled up with fluid. Another person was
bit on the tongue while she was sleeping and experienced a necrotic wound on
her tongue. Others have suffered through amputations or huge necrotic wounds
10" or more in diameter.
10. If I order your
products, when will they be shipped?
Orders are shipped on weekdays. Orders received before noon central time are usually shipped
on the same day.
