Hello Robin,

The spider in this picture is NOT a Brown Recluse Spider. The legs are too thick and the abdomen is not the correct color. There is also no visible violin marking on the back.

Thank you for your reply. As, I'm sure, most people who think they might have a brown recluse kind of go into search mode. After finding your site and posting the picture I continued to try and find answers. I do believe I have a better understanding of being able to better identify the BR.
